
NEW ITSASMENDI VINTAGE
This year we celebrated our 30th Harvest, reflecting this source of pride and celebration in the label’s image.

30 years of experience have allowed us to acquire a wealth of knowledge and, with it, the ability to improve each year in the production of quality grapes and their transformation into wine.
2024 VINTAGE PRESENTATION
In 2025, we created an event that we will repeat every year to present the new vintage at our facilities in the heart of the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve.
This format will consist of choosing a local gastronomic product with a historical tradition of interest to the public. The 2024 vintage was presented by ALUBIA and the Cofradía de la Putxera de Balmaseda. A delicate, fresh, and complex vintage that we are sure you will love.
Railway pots were created at the end of the 19th century. Using the heat of the engines and fuel from the trains themselves, the drivers and stokers cooked the daily stew, which also served as a stove. This tradition has been maintained, and several gastronomic festivals are held around them.
Currently, there is a brotherhood responsible for spreading the history and culture of railway pots called “putxeras,” who were responsible for telling stories and cooking various types of beans.
Various activities were also held with children, including planting native vines and trees.
