The first edition of Udako Wine Bar was born from a simple idea: to open the doors of our winery and enjoy wine in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, surrounded by the beauty of our vineyards during the summer solstice.
A Wine Bar among the vineyards
This new experience invited guests to discover wine in a different way—outdoors, surrounded by nature, good music and great food.
The event brought together some of Itsasmendi’s most representative wines alongside a carefully curated selection from On Egin Vinos Singulares, offering guests the opportunity to explore different styles, regions and philosophies of winemaking.
White, red and sparkling wines from a variety of wine regions were served side by side at the same wine bar, encouraging visitors to compare styles, terroirs and winemaking approaches, all sharing the same values: authenticity and respect for origin.
Wine, food and live music
As the sun slowly set over the vineyards of the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve, guests enjoyed each glass paired with a selection of locally sourced appetizers and sharing plates, including artisan cheese and charcuterie boards, anchovies from Bermeo, and other delicacies carefully chosen to complement the wines.
Live music provided the perfect soundtrack for a memorable summer evening.
More than a wine tasting
Udako Wine Bar was created to bring people closer to the world of wine from a different perspective. It was never just about tasting wines—it was about creating a place to meet, share, learn and enjoy the landscape that gives life to our txakolis.
